reclaimed wood house

once upon the time two carpenters brothers  renovated an old building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, with reclaimed wood and doors... a huge carpenter shop inside, no more sofa but comfy armchairs and a hammock for relaxing after work. Love to discover stories like that... The two boys created their own building company named hOmE... have a look!!!!

il était une fois deux frères charpentiers qui rénovèrent un vieux building à Greenpoint, Brooklyn, pour en faire leur maison et leur atelier, en n'utilisant seulement du bois et des portes de récupération... un grand espace fut consacré à leur atelier, pas de sofa mais seulement des fauteuils bien confortables et un hamac pour se relaxer!!!  J'adore découvrir des histoires comme celle-là... Les deux frères ont aussi créé leur compagnie de construction nommée hOmE... à voir absolument!!!!

a ranch-cabin in Colorado

The initial barn was made of reclaimed timbers and materials. The architect keeping the historic context translate it into a so special place with the tradition of western ranch.Such a great job !!!!

La grange était initialement faite de poutres et matériaux de récup. L'architecte voulant garder le côté historique, l'a transformée en un endroit très spécial empreint de l'âme d'un ranch de l'ouest américain!!! sacré beau boulot!!!!!
