in the mexican restaurant Tacofino Commisary in Vancouver there are stunning lighting installations from Omer Arbel of Bocci... Each piece of the installation is hand (or mouth) blown and is filled with live cactus plants, all banded together with a meandering copper vine. Have a look...

brick walls and concrete

through my Canadian friend's blog Pinecone Camp i had a serious crush for that house in Gastown, the historic area of Vancouver. Fantastic brick walls mixed up with concrete on walls and floors, immaculate white kitchen and  strawberry plants on the patio... just fresh enough to start spring time!!!! Thanks Janis!!!

dans le blog de ma copine Canadienne Pinecone Camp j'ai eu un méchant coup de coeur pour cette maison a Gastown, le quartier historique de Vancouver. Incroyables murs de briques mélangés avec d'autres en béton, un sol en béton ciré, une cuisine blanche immaculée et un mur entier de fraisiers dans le patio... un peu de fraîcheur pour attaquer le printemps!!!! Merci Janis !!!!
