endless summer in Malibu, CA, in that stunning house for which i had a serious crush on the white floors, the simplicity, the raw woods used to create sofas... heaven on earth...

l'été n'en fini pas à Malibu, dans cette sublime villa ou la simplicité est de mise et pour laquelle j'ai eu un coup de coeur pour les sols blancs, les bois usés réutilisés pour créer des sofa... le paradis!!!

Tropical Modernism

today i drive you to Colombo, Sri Lanka, to visit the wonderful house of the famous architect Geoffrey Bawa. All is made to enjoy a tropical life with elegance and rawness... some tribal items meeting here a real modernism created by the architect circa 1960... so current !!!!!

aujourd'hui je vous emmène à Colombo, au Sri Lanka visiter la sublime maison du célèbre architecte Geoffrey Bawa. Tout y est fait pour profiter de la vie tropicale de l'île avec élégance et rusticité... quelques éléments tribaux rencontrent là un réel modernisme, dans cette maison bâtie dans les années 60... tellement actuel!!!!

Eco Straw Bale house in Melbourne

i  have never seen before, in real pictures, the straw bale houses usually built circa 1860...

So when i found one on ompomhappy i felt the need to show you that stunning eco-friendly house in Melbourne... The owner the fashion designer Arabella Ramsay and her husband Nick wanted to built a house that stays cool in the hot Australian summers, re-using waste water and running with solar panels... all matching with nature around... just fantastic !!!!
