Hello friends!!! i'm back after 2 weeks holidays in India... amazing time that needed amazing house for coming back!!! So today let's visit this stunning railway house built in 1867 in Santpoort, Netherlands, and recently renovated by the studio ZW6.... savant mix of old and new with old bricks and contemporary veranda and stairs...

hello les amis!!! me voila de retour après deux semainde de vacances en Indes... fabuleux moments qui nécessitaient une fabuleuse maison pour mon retour sur le blog !!! Alors ce soir je vous emmène visiter cette étonnante maison de gare, construite en 1867, à Santpoort en Hollande, et qui a été récemment rénovée par le studio ZW6... un savant mélange d'ancien et de moderne avec de vieilles briques d'origine qui côtoient véranda et escalier contemporain...

omg... i was chocked today seing the wall of the CT Coffee & Coconut in Amsterdam.

The coffe shop take place in the old movie theater "Ceintuur Theater" that was built in the 20s.

i love the association of light raw wood furniture and the stunning brick wall...something minimalist where i will be able to live in, don't you?

alors voilà, une trouvaille comme je les aime, avec ce nouveau coffee shop CT Coffee &Coconuts à Amsterdam... et ce mur de briques... sans voix!!! Il s'est installé dans un vieux cinéma datant des années 20, le Centruur Theater, et les lieux ont été gardés dans leur jus...j'adore l'association qui a été faite de bois brut clairs avec ces vieux murs... quelque chose de minimaliste, reposant, où je vivrais bien... pas vous?

because i really need one!!!! it's beautiful, giving character to the place and such an industrial style!!!!

je suis toujours en train de chercher quel mot géant je vais pouvoir peindre sur mon futur mur en brique... j'en veux vraiment un... parce que c'est beau, industriel et que ça donne du caractère au lieu!!

in this studio for rent in London, with view on Canary Wharf.... old bricks and Victorian windows, full of light... the perfect place!!!!

when imperfect become perfect

imperfect walls in that loft are just perfect... giving the place a lot of character...

the loft is located in Madrid and is ready to be rent to organize any event or photography...

All furniture was recycled and bargained, the rehab was realized by Cordero Atelier

quand l'imperfection devient perfection...c'est le cas avec les murs de ce loft à Madrid, qui a été rénové par Cordero Atelier, et est maintenant à la location pour des événements commerciaux ou des shootings photos... Tous les meubles ont été recyclés et chinés... J'y vivrais bien!!!

i can't imagine having a loft without a brick wall... I already had one in my duplex in Montréal, in my house in Vietnam, and since i can't stop thinking to have another one... but today i was hesitating between two options: keep it raw and natural ... or painting it in a special color...

The cube house i ❥

... in South Africa, Dan and Chris tried to find an old farm to renovate... but meeting the architect Henri Comrie, they finaly opted for a modern cube house... keeping the old style with bricks and white tones they wanted in a contemporary environment... wonderful !!!!

une maison cube en Afrique du Sud, où Dan et Chris, les propriétaires, qui recherchaient plutôt une ancienne ferme à rénover, on finit par opter pour une cubique contemporaine, sur les conseil de l'architecte Henri Comrie. Ils ont cependant gardé un style ancien axé sur la brique et le blanc, dans un environnement très contemporain. Sublime!!!!
