butterfly joints

as you already know i am in love with wood, but recently i discovered butterfly joints... and i must say i love them on tables, flooring, objects aught they take place between two old planks... 

so much beauty in a small piece of wood!!!!

ce soir j'avais envie de vous parler des joints papillons en menuiserie, parce que je trouve ça tellement beau de pouvoir relier deux planches avec un aussi joli objet!!! J'adore quand on en trouve sur les meubles, les sols ou les objets, surtout quand le bois est vieux ... un charme fou!!!

between time

 Just had a serious crush about Between Time in Berlin til the 22d of September.  Between Time (A Curated Showcase of Fine Furnishings and Art) is a collaborative exhibition put together by interior architect Gisbert Pöppler and vintage furniture dealer Erik Hofstetter, featuring some beautiful examples of salvaged and restored furniture and works of art which are being offered for sale to visitors. All is shown in an old building from the 19th century... magic!!!!!

J'ai eu un sérieux coup de coeur pour cette expo à Berlin Between Time. Il s'agit de l'alliance d'un architecte d'intérieur  Gisbert Pöppler et d'un vendeur de meubles vintages Erik Hofstetter qui se sont alliés pour créer une expo-vente dans un cadre sublime, de meubles restaurés et de pièces d'art. L'expo dure jusqu'au 22 septembre. L'expo et la mise en scène siègent dans un vieil immeuble datant du 19ème... magique!!!!!
